Digitalization is predicted to have profound effects on societies and economies and it is expected to be an essential prerequisite for several major transformations including improved human capital, responsible consumption and production, sustainable cities and communities, and digital government all of which are necessary to achieve sustainable development goals. The rapid digitalization catalyzed by recent global challenges has given us the chance to rethink how we make decisions and apply technologies in new and meaningful ways. This has presented an immense opportunity for initiatives that can harness the potential of data and technologies to drive more sustainable solutions.

In this backdrop, the Department of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that the 03 International Conference on Advanced Research in Computing - ICARC 2023 will be held on 23 and 24 February 2023 under the theme . The conference features keynote and plenary speeches from eminent scholars and industry experts, oral presentations, pre-conference workshops and tutorials, and public discussions to provide ample opportunities for discussion and knowledge dissemination in a wide range of computing disciplines. Functioning as a hybrid conference we believe ICARC 2023 will serve as a distinctive and exciting experience for all attendees.
